Seasonal Production Operators
Simplot Australia is seeking applicants for seasonal casual opportunities at their frozen vegetable processing facility in Devonport. The roles will commence in mid-February 2023 and run through until approximately July 2023, working across a 24 hour (day, afternoon, night) Monday to Sunday roster. The job duties include safe operation of vegetable processing equipment, quality inspection, and participation in Good Manufacturing Practice and Continuous Improvement activities. Prior experience in production or food processing is beneficial but not required, candidates should have a strong work ethic and willingness to work on a 7-day roster. They also should be willing to undergo aptitude testing and pre-employment medical, and forklift license would be an advantage. Benefits include casual rate of $37.01 per hour, fully supplied and laundered uniform, on-site canteen and parking.
