Engineering – Design Engineer
RØDE is looking for a experienced engineer with a focus on tooling and automation design, who can deliver projects from briefing to production in a fast-paced environment, design of moulds, tools, automation, jigs, fixtures, and gauges, apply CAD skills, create engineering drawings, assist with design for manufacture of components, and ensure smooth flow of information to tooling and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate should have an engineering trade or relevant engineering tertiary qualification, significant experience in tooling and automation design, parametric design and simulation software, proficiency in VISI CAD/CAM, Solidworks, knowledge of various manufacturing processes, properties of metals/plastics, proficiency in process formulation and improvement, good communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, ability to multitask and knowledge of WH&S standards.
