Senior Technical Support Analyst
Rockend have an amazing opportunity for a talented individual to join their team as a Technical Support Analyst. In this highly varied role, you will primarily be responsible for providing high level troubleshooting and support services to support the execution of our software at runtime on our customers environments.
Your key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Provide technical support, facilitate problem solving with our Support Teams and Rockend Customers.
- Resolve environmental issues effecting the execution of our software at runtime
- Partner with our customers IT providers to develop and execute solutions
- Working with our Onboaring project coordinators to carry out Technical Service work for our customers.
- Installation of Rockend products on customer environments
- Continually improving the level of customer satisfaction excellence
- Identifying, testing and documenting trouble shooting tools to aid in customer support
What you’ll need to be successful
- General desire to help people and a passion for continual improvement
- Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft network technologies including DNS, DHCP and Group Policies as well as having significant demonstrated experience in providing advanced technical support, ideally in a B2B environment
- Knowledge of Citrix/Terminal Services, Server Visualisation and Firewalls is also a requirement
- Ability to understand and query SQL Databases is highly desirable
You will need excellent communication and problem solving skills to allow you to provide expert troubleshooting advice and training to a wide range of customers. You’ll be highly motivated, and able to demonstrate independence in your decision making and judgement. You’ll have outstanding customer service skills and experience, always looking to ensure matters are resolved promptly and successfully.
