Responsibilities include supporting weapon acquisition and certification, leading and mentoring junior engineers, holding and exercising engineering authority on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia, and drafting and reviewing engineering technical certification documentation. Candidates must have experience in or an awareness of CASG engineering processes, explosive ordnance engineering management, explosive ordnance operations/handling, and knowledge of the explosive munitions. Candidates must be eligible to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
Radio Frequency Engineer
The role of Radio Frequency Engineer includes electronic/RF characterisation of integrated systems, conducting end-to-end analysis, measurement and simulation of communications scenarios, conducting RF design and prototype activities, and providing technical advice to the engineering team. Qualifications include an Electronics Engineering degree, experience with RF components, programming languages and RF-electronics subsystems, and understanding of radar and digital signal processing techniques.
