Allied Health Assistant
An opportunity has arisen for a Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join the Physiotherapy team at Monash Medical Centre and Moorabbin Hospital. The exciting role involves assisting the allied health team to provide care to, and implementing individual and group treatment plans for patients across a diverse caseload including Neurology, Musculoskeletal, Oncology and General Medicine as well as the Hydrotherapy environment. Rotations across the wards are encouraged providing the opportunity to work in different clinical areas. Other duties include providing and maintaining equipment and administrative tasks that help deliver high quality patient centred care. Some travel between Clayton and Moorabbin sites may be required.

The Administration Assistant is a key role within the Hospital in the home Unit provides a customer focused service to patients and their families. You will be the first contact for many visitors to our clinical area. Your overall responsibilities will involve inquiries (in person and telephone), registering patient information, admissions, discharges, transfers, stock control, reconciling invoices and other clerical tasks. Customer service skills and an ability to remain helpful in what can be a demanding environment is essential. Attention to detail and clerical experience will be looked upon favourably.
