Team Leader

The Waterways and Land North East Delivery NRM & Grass Team Leader is accountable for providing leadership and empowering a team of supervisors and field based crews to deliver a diverse range of natural resource management and grass management delivery programs across the North East Region of Melbourne Water’s operational area. Work across the broader Waterways and Land Delivery team to ensure that the team meets its Business Plan commitments, targets and KPI’s.
  • Safety: Lead and implement a generative safety culture approach that ensures a commitment to zero harm.
  • Delivery improvement: Accountable for tracking performance against KPI’s and implementing program delivery improvements and efficiencies through leading change.

Asset Systems Specialist

As the Asset Systems Specialist you will provide technical leadership to support our customers by empowerment of Asset Management Information System (AMIS) users to adopt Corporate processes and utilise systems correctly and efficiently, provision of technical support on a daily basis, ensuring information can be accessed to enable our assets to be maintained efficiently and enablement of the Asset Management Strategy.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience with analysis and resolution of AMIS technical issues from a business perspective, including data related issues.
  • Proven ability to adapt to using new technology.

  • Experience with maintaining asset information, including bulk updating of asset information.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with Asset related systems especially Maximo and GIS systems

Administration & Operational Support Officer

In this 6 month fixed-term contract position as the Administration and Operational Support Officer you will provide administration and operational support for the Water Supply Operations Team.

This position is critical in assisting us to meet our customer, regulatory and financial obligations, and plays a key part in the day to day support for team.

This role is a part of a job share position working from 2 days per week (may possibly increase to 3) on Monday and Thursday and is based at our Winneke treatment plant site. Working hours are 07:30AM – 04:00PM. Based at Winneke (Christmas Hills) and Silvan.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Competent knowledge and usage of Corporate Systems (eg. Finance 1, Learning Tank), Inflo, Q4, and other computer applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
  • Ability to write clear and well-presented memos, reports, and other various documents
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a systematic, well-organised way to complete tasks according to priorities.
  • Proven organisational and administrative experience.
  • Well-developed customer service skills
  • Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required along with relevant administration qualifications and first aid certificates being desirable.
