Senior Food Scientist
As a Food Scientist in our company, you will work with the marketing team to understand consumer needs and bring solutions through developing new concepts, prototypes and products. You will work with customers and suppliers as required to meet R&D and company objectives, coordinate and investigate all solutions and opportunities, generate timelines and follow structured product development process to develop commercially viable products. You will also be responsible for following the innovation management process, procedures and documentation, ensuring all necessary information is available. To be successful in this role, you should have demonstrated experience in a similar role, a curious and creative mind set, technical lead ability, understanding of food manufacturing operations, strong working knowledge of food laws and regulations, the ability to interpret consumer research data and apply to product development, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and strong communication skills.
Casual Production Worker
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our pool of Casual Production Workers for our Smithton site. The successful candidates will work to achieve daily production schedules across the plant, and should be hardworking, driven and flexible. No prior experience is necessary, but food processing and/or manufacturing experience is beneficial. The role requires strong commitment to working safely, availability to work across 24-hour/7 day per week shift profile, flexibility to perform different roles and work on call, ability to work as part of a team, strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, food handling skills or qualifications, cleaning/sanitation experience, and current forklift license is advantageous.
The role of the Supply Planner is to create and maintain a detailed schedule that takes into account customer needs, production efficiency, and raw material availability. The Supply Planner will also keep track of supply issues and work with production teams to ensure schedules are met. Additionally, the Supply Planner will support new product development by attending project meetings and ensuring raw materials are ready for production. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of supply chain processes and S&OP or IBP practices, experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment, and strong collaboration skills.
