Customer Service Representative

You will be responsible for providing the five star customer service experience to our Gold Plus Rewards customers to ensure continued growth and profitability of Hertz. You will be based at our Canberra Store and may be required to work at other ACT stores within reasonable travel distance. As the face of our business you will;

Location Manager

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the retail, financial and operational performance of our Mackay store. As part of the Gladstone leadership team you will analyse and constantly improve financial performance through capturing all growth opportunities and maintaining low cost levels. Core responsibilities include:

  • Drive achievement of revenue growth, utilisation & productivity targets
  • Deliver continuous improvement of service quality and customer experience
  • Manage, develop and motivate a successful team
  • Actively plan and manage fleet volumes and labour resources in line with business demand
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships through exceptional service quality
  • Drive operational performance within health and safety standards and internal and external requirements

Customer Vehicle Representative

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales services to internal and external customers to ensure the continued growth and profitability of Hertz. You will be based at our Melbourne Store and you may be required to work at other VIC stores within reasonable travel distance. As the face of our business you will;

  • Create a positive customer experience by greeting and engaging our valued customers
  • Complete rental and return transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Sell Hertz rental options to our valued customers
  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction by resolving issues
  • Ensure all features of the vehicles are operational when returned by renting customer.
  • Detail vehicles to the Hertz standard
  • Ferry vehicles as needed

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this position, our new team member will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and have a flair for sales
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales; experience in rental industry preferred
  • Computer and keyboard skills are essential
  • Flexibility of working hours (7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays may apply)
  • You must hold a full and current VIC driver’s license with the ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
