The Office for Research facilitates research excellence through the provision of highly skilled professional support and advice to the Griffith research community.

The opportunity

The Research Grants Officer plays an important role within the Research Grants Team by administering a research grant portfolio including providing support to a range of Griffith research institutes and centres and leading the administration of a number of external or internal competitive research grant schemes. The Research Grants Officer also plans, organises and participates in research funding seminars and workshops for specific grant schemes.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Nathan campus.

About you

The successful candidate will have significant research grants administration experience in a central office of a university, medical research institute or similar organisation. You should have extensive knowledge of research grant funding opportunities, application processes and post-award management processes.

Salary range

HEW 7: $80,958 – 87,709 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $94,722 – $102,621 per annum.
