Senior Relationship Manager

The SRM is a senior role within our Commercial Banking business & acts as a trusted advisor to drive sustainable business growth over time and sources new clients through your self-generated and Westpac-developed marketing initiatives. A critical part of the SRM role will be actively referring customers to appropriate segments in order to ensure the needs of the customer and Westpac are consistently met.  The SRM works collaboratively with a network of specialists in areas such as wealth, financial markets, cash flow and transactional banking.

Some key accountabilities of the role include, however are not limited to;

  • Initiating & facilitating outstanding interactions with existing and prospective customers;

  • Developing and growing deep industry expertise and referral networks.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Proven Relationship Management experience demonstrating how you have grown & developed a portfolio of accounts;
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service;
  • Strong credit skills, including cashflow lending;
  • Proven track record in Business Development and acquiring new to bank business;
  • Well established network of referral sources;
  • Proven balance sheet analysis and deal structuring (Commercial / Corporate deals)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications would be preferred

As the Transaction Banking Manager you will add value to our Commercial customers by optimising their working capital and delivering market leading payments capabilities; saving time and money whilst enabling their businesses to grow sustainably.  You will proactively grow and retain an existing portfolio of complex and high value customers by partnering with them to help them achieve their business goals through the exceptional transactional banking expertise you provide.

Claims Consultant, Home & Contents 

As Claims Consultant – Home & Contents, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your sound customer service experience, interact with both internal and external customers, owning home and contents claims and ensuring these are managed efficiently, whilst meeting compliance standards.

About You:

  • Sound computing skills are essential. Claims knowledge across General Insurance is advantageous, but not essential.
