The Communications Specialist brings the BIG W communications plan to life through partnering with the business to deliver clear, concise and purposeful messages delivered to the right people, at the right time through the right channels to grow team & customer advocacy. Reporting into the Communications Manager your main responsibilities will include:
Develop communications with cross functional teams to work within the communications platforms (eg. Store Portal, Infoshare and more) and ensure consistency of execution in communications to our teams.
Use customer & team insights to execute a compelling customer & team 1st communications that seamlessly integrates into the business across multiple channels.
Deliver cohesive communications working with cross functional teams for key events, change initiatives, product launches and other projects
Work within disciplined ways of working to ensure timelines are met, stakeholders are engaged appropriately and processes are efficient and cost effective;
This role is based in the Woolworths Support Office, Bella Vista and is a permanent role.
To be successful in this role and thrive in our turnaround culture, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
• Previous experience as a communications specialist for a successful retail or FMCG business
• Able to leverage multiple platforms and tools to communicate important messages
• Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and positively engage with others
