Bakery Sales Manager

There is a new opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our team at Bakers Delight Brighton. This management role is in a Part time capacity (approximately 25 – 30 plus hours per week). Flexible hours, must be available to work within a seven days a week roster. Salary/ Wage is negotiable.

Experience in Retail/ Hospitality management and proven people management is essential (at least one year). Working within a Bakers Delight or bakery environment will be advantageous.

Reporting directly to the Franchisee, as the Sales Manager, your key roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Exceeding our customer’s expectations with fast and friendly service
  • Inspiring other team members to achieve more, through communication, consistency and leading by example
  • Staff trials & training and supervision to ensure that all procesess and procedures are in accordance with Bakery guidelines
  • Merchandising, management of inventory, including ordering stock related to retail aspects of the bakery.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation to ensure that requirements of regular formal Five Star assessment are met.
  • Support of national marketing initiatives through proper in store execution

Baker Wanted

We are looking for a Baker to join our highly motivated production team at Church Street Brighton, on a full-time or part-time basis.

At Bakers Delight Brighton our Bakers are responsible for:

Baking and presenting quality products to meet customer needs

· Maintaining the cleanliness and ensuring safety standards of the bakery

· Ability to work across a 7 day trading roster which will include nights and w/ends

· Providing delightful customer service as required.

The desired applicants will have undertaken a baking apprenticeship, trade qualification or experience in the industry. Bakers Delight experience an advantage.
