Food and Beverage Supervisor
University House is the ceremonial heart of Australia’s National University, and a heritage-listed property that incorporates a boutique hotel with function and event venues. A unique opportunity exists for an experienced, hands on Food and Beverage Supervisor to work in a busy and dynamic event environment. As the Food and Beverage Supervisor you will be reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the operations of events including; setting up event spaces, liaising with clients and coaching and supervising food and beverage staff. You will also be required to supervise our food and beverage outlets.
The ideal candidate for this role requires high level communication and customer services skills; it is perfect for someone who is confident and uses initiative. Time management and organisation skills as well as high attention to detail are essential as this is a fast-paced role with conflicting priorities. Previous experience with Micros or other sales and catering software products would be advantageous.
